| isnt it funny that as soon as everything seems like its finally right in your world, something happens that turns your world upside down. kinda like the calm before the storm. it feels like things are out of control, but we can know that God is in control. when we can't understand what the heck is going on is when we can grow in our faith and in our relastionship with God the most.
why is it harder to be close to God when everything is going right? yet it takes a breaking down of self, a time when you are at your lowest to even see your need for Him? life would be so much easier if we could just remember our dire need for Christ, even in the good times.
it is times like these that keep us on our knees, that kept our focus on Him.
God is good, all the time.
Life ain't always beautiful Sometimes it's just plain hard Life can knock you down, it can break your heart Life ain't always beautiful You think you're on your way And it's just a dead end road at the end of the day But the struggle makes you stronger And the changes make you wise And happiness has it's own way of takin' it sweet time No,life aint always beautiful Tears will fall sometimes Life aint always beautiful But it's a beautiful ride

| "I'm gonna say it one more time. We are Georgia Southern. Our colors are blue and white. We call ourselves the Bald Eagles. We call our offense the Georgia Power Company...and that's a terrific name for an offense. Our snap count is "rate, hike". We practice on the banks of Beautiful Eagle Creek and that's in Statesboro, Georgia--the gnat capital of America. Our weekends begin on Thursday. The co-eds outnumber the men 3 to 2. They're all good looking and they're all rich. And folks, you just can't beat that...and you just can't beat Georgia Southern. And you ain't seen nothin yet... "

| You feel like a candle in a hurricane Just like a picture with a broken frame Alone and helpless, like you’ve lost your fight But you’ll be alright, you’ll be alright
‘Cause when push comes to shove You taste what you’re made of You might bend ‘til you break ‘Cause it’s all you can take On your knees you look up Decide you’ve had enough You get mad, you get strong Wipe your hands, shake it off Then you stand, then you stand
Life’s like a novel with the end ripped out The edge of a canyon with only one way down Take what you’re given before it’s gone And start holdin’ on, keep holdin’ on
Every time you get up and get back in the race One more small piece of you starts to fall into place – yeah
Yeah then you stand – yeah Yeah, baby Woo hoo, Woo hoo, Woo hoo Then you stand – yeah, yeah | | |
